Howzit Everyone!
Today I'm sharing my DT inspiration for Delicious Doodles' August challenge, All Creatures Great and Small! Recently I've been doing a lot of 3D paper art and couldn't resist creating another featuring Beautiful Blossom!
I started out by adjusting the size of the digi in Photoshop CS6 and printed out 2 copies onto Neenah solar white cardstock. For this one I decided that her hair, the butterfly and portions of the flowers and leaves would be the layered sections and coloured everything accordingly.
I coloured the digi with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils with the background done in a combination of brown Derwent Pastel pencils blended with a Dove blender pen and Tea Dye Distress Ink applied with a foam ink applicator. White gel pen highlights were then added once the entire piece was completed.
I then fussy cut out all the pieces and adhered them in place with pop dots and added extra dimension to the flower centers and her pearl bracelet with Viva Pearl Magic Transparent White which is a clear dimensional paint with a pearlescent shimmer. I distressed the edges of the cardstock and applied more Tea Dye DI before layering the coloured panel onto blue and black cardstock mats and adhered everything to a folded card made from white cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by to see my project today!
Happy Stamping!
