Recognising the widespread influence of Italian cuisine in Singapore, the inaugural Gusto Italiano will be celebrating and showcasing the food, culinary talents and produce of Italy in new and exciting ways. The festivities will feature outstanding local culinary stars and bring together renowned Italian restaurants and F&B establishments from across the island.

If you love to cook and love Italian cuisine, these Flavours of Italy Culinary Workshops are perfect for you. Eight of city's leading Italian chefs will be sharing their expertise for preparing Italian dishes that can be easily prepared at home.

Chef Anna Borrasi of Etna is the only female chef in this lineup of 8 culinary masterclass instructors.


Hailing from Napoli, Italy, Anna Borrasi is Singapore’s only Group Executive Chef with proven expertise in Italian cuisine. After joining her family food and beverage business in her teenage years in Italy, she started developing an interest in cooking and experimenting elements of food. The essence of her dishes is visually enhanced by refreshing contemporary presentations. Her exceptional skills have helped her open 6 restaurants of her own over the past 25 years in Italy and Europe, restaurants that have gained great popularity. Chef Anna had always relished plans to set up Italian restaurants in places outside Europe so as to spread the Italian food culture, enabling people to savour and appreciate authentic Italian fare. Joining Etna Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria gave her the opportunity to understand and recognize the potential of Singapore as a suitable place to fulfill that ambition.

She'll be imparting her skills during her culinary workshop on 22 Sep (Sun) at 10 am. 2 lucky Chef and Sommelier readers will each walk away with a pair of passes worth $50++ to her workshop!

  2. Paccheri Pasta stuffed with Mortadella & Mushroom served on Dolce Latte Fondue, Lemon-Flavouring & Vanilla Galliano
